Fort Gibson Lake is located along the Grand (Neosho) River and is nestled in the hills of eastern Oklahoma. The lake draws its name from historic Fort Gibson, which played a prominent part in early day military history of Oklahoma. A reconstructed stockade stands on the site of the first log fort. Now a National Historical Landmark, the stockade is owned by the state of Oklahoma and is open to the public year round. Blue Bill Point is one of six Campgrounds on Fort Gibson Lake that is available for reservations through Reserve America. Reservations are available April 1 - September 30. The campground sits along the banks of Flat Rock Bay, and provides excellent lake access. Whether camping, picnicking, fishing, swimming or just sightseeing, we invite you to come and enjoy the scenic beauty of Fort Gibson Lake.
