winter traveling water

can you travel with heat on to keep water tanks from frezing? The drain point is in non-heated spot under trailer.

Yes, you may travel with heat on, however, depending on the outside temperature and windchil created by driving down the road, it is unlikely to do anything to prevent freezing of the tanks/plumbing. Always a better idea to be safe not sorry. Winterize or at least completely drain water system and fill back up at your destination. On the road, throw some rock salt in the black tank and rinse from a jug of water if you must use the potty. (Salt will degrade valves over time so be sure to rinse completely when you get to warmer weather!)
