Water leaking - under vinyl flooring
I have a Palomino travel trailer with fiberglass exterior. The seal between the sides and the metal trim all along the bottom has apparently failed, and water has wicked in between the vinyl on the floor and the plywood. I have 2 questions: 1) What would be the best product to caulk that seal with 2) Once the leaking is fixed, will it dry out okay, or should I remove the vinyl, let it dry out and then replace the vinyl (or put in carpeting)?
Thank you

A good quality silicon caulk would be fine to reseal the "belt" molding. As far as the floor goes, like most manufacturers, I believe Palamino uses 24' sheets of OSB as floor decking. Many types of OSB are manufactured with a vegetable-based glue and tend to both come apart easily and mold easily after getting wet. Removing the vinyl may help, but you may pull up part of the floor as well. A better fix may be to overlay the floor with additional vinyl flooring or carpet. Also, make sure to check that the water is definitely from the beltline and not from plumbing inside the trailer. Good Luck!

The best sealant w/o exception is 3M 5200 available at ACE or any marine supply store. It costs about 12.00 per full-size tube (fits in a standard caulk-gun).
The vinyl sections should be removed and the wood hit with a blowdryer. Pick away at the hopelessly rotted wood and patch with epoxy resin mixed with whatever filler on hand (fine sawdust/ground cotton fibers) Sand to a finished shape and re-vinyl.
