how do we prevent mice from getting into our 2000 Mountain Aire while in storage
We store our Motor home in an unheated storage building in Canada in late October and mice appear to enter the unit in the front where the gas motor is located. They have left droppings in the glove compartment and elsewhere.

Marcelle,
We have had good luck with moth balls. We pour them on the ground outside the coach anywhere it touches the floor(around tires,etc.). Last year, the motorhome next to us had a mouse problem, while we did not. We also use dryer sheets in closets, under drawers, in storage bins, etc. to keep bugs out & generally keep things smelling fresher. Hope this helps!

Hi Marcelle, I had a mouse problem years ago in my previous RV. I found a product called Fresh Cab. It comes 4 pouches to a box and all you do is place them in various locations throughout the RV. Never saw any evidence of mice again, and I continue to use it in my present RV, as well as in my garage. Their web address is www.cranecreekgardens.com. You may find it at a farm supply or hardware store, I order mine online or by phone. The tel. # is 800-583-2921. On the box they list a canadian distributor as Westward Parts Services Ltd., Red Deer Alberta. I'm sure this will work as well for you as it does for me.
